Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow passionate about research leadership and community impact?
The 2025-2026 TACC Trainee Co-Leadership Award is designed to empower trainees as future leaders in neurodevelopmental research and supports the inclusion of trainees in the network’s governance and strategic plan initiatives. Successful candidates will be matched with TACC committees and workgroups aligned with their interests, including:
Governance and organization of the network
Open Science
Training
Community engagement
Intersectoral and partnered research
Knowledge mobilization
What’s in it for you?
Gain leadership experience in a research network
Collaborate with experts and community partners
Strengthen skills in strategy, coordination, and implementation
Receive an annual stipend of $ 10,000 CAD (for PhD students and post-docs) or $ 5,000 (for master’s students) (as established by the FRQ guidelines). The award is renewable for one additional year.
Commitment: 8-10 hours/week for a year, working closely with the TACC Team and committee chairs to support planning, coordination, and implementation of activities.
N.B. If you currently hold other awards, please check with the funder whether this award may be held in conjunction with other awards. For example, the FRQ rules do not allow concurrent funding for awards granted by its thematic networks.

All TACC trainee members are eligible to apply. To become a member, fill out a registration form.
Submit a single PDF file containing:
Expression of interest (max. 1 page) describing your background and how you can contribute to TACC’s committees and workgroups
Curriculum vitae, following the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Tri-Agency CV format
Letter of support (max. 1 page) from your supervisor
